As the wife of a recently deployed soldier, these words express exactly how I feel. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your song for families of the troops. It is hard to see those boys and girls over there, just thinking of the next few weeks and what we all have to endure is overwhelming. Again, thank you deeply.
It is amazing how you captured what it is like to have a spouse over there on the other side of the world preparing for war. So many things mentioned in the song are things that I have shared with my mother or a close friend.
I heard the song Prayer for You on the radio this week. My husband is in the military and is deployed at this time. This song really spoke to me because our prayers for each other and the prayers of our family and friends are how we get through these times.
It’s a moving song with an excellent, encouraging message. I’m grateful that “the God that we’re both looking to is looking out for us.”
I’ve been looking for the song Prayer for You for the last two years. I heard it when we lived in Florida and my husband was deployed for months at a time. I’ll never forget – I was driving, it was raining, the song came on “out of the blue” and it couldn’t have hit my heart any harder. I’ve never forgotten it, and there has been no other song like it to relate the feelings we experience all too often.
